The institution promote social responsibilities and citizenship roles among the studentsDoes through National Cadets Corps and National service Scheme
Students are taken out of the institution in the society where they live for few days with the families other than their own and learn the lessons of social responsibilities through the camps by NSS and NCC they are taken away to the different places. In the process during their travel and at the venue they come in contact with different groups of society from where they come to know about the role a person has to play in the society. They also come to know about being a good citizen and its characteristics. We also take out the students of other subjects on excursions. So in such excursions and in the activities managed by the students in the college campus, they learn how to become a good citizen and how to bear their social responsibilities.
The college is taking programmes to bring in “Community Orientation” through NSS and NCC activities in collaboration with NGOs.
Institution reaches out to the neighbored communities through the programmes of NSS and NCC camps. Those camps are being organized in different villages nearby and everywhere programmes on sanitation, public health, superstition, dowry, social awareness and programmes representing the different ceremonies of our culture are arranged.
Students of NSS and NCC are the participants of the camp. So theirs’ is the direct contribution in this activity whereas faculty members visit the camp as per their schedule and on the last day of the camp all the faculty members become the part of the camp. This action gives encouragement and motivation to the students and members of the community.
